Martin Luther King, Jr. Day “Day of Service” Cleanup Event

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is the only national holiday designated as a national day of service to encourage all Americans to volunteer to improve their communities. KLRB is hosting a litter cleanup event to provide an opportunity for you to volunteer.
KLRB will be picking up litter on one mile of highway right of way near Interstate Park. Start time 11:00 am (NOTE – Time Change)
Meet at the blue KLRB tent just inside the park. Rain date – February 18, 9:00 am.
Central AR Master Naturalists will be leading a cleanup in the Fourche Creek Wetlands in Interstate Park. Start time – 9:00 am. Meet at the table near the railroad tracks on S. Chester.

- Wear sturdy shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather conditions on the day of our event.
- Bring gloves and a litter grabber, if you have one.
- We will have safety vests, trash bags, breakfast snacks, and water to refill your reusable bottle.
