Litter Prevention

A beautiful community is one without litter, a goal KLRB believes we can realize when we all work together.

We sponsor many community litter and trash clean-ups, working with neighborhood groups, volunteers, and sponsors to protect our environment and improve the quality of life for everyone in Little Rock.

Keep Little Rock Beautiful has partnered with the Central Arkansas Library System (CALS) and the Little Rock Sustainability Office to make Litter Clean Up Kits available for check out at Little Rock Branch Libraries. You can use your library card to check out a Litter Clean Up Kit, which includes a safety vest, litter grabbers, a trash bag, and instructions on how to conduct your cleanup. This program provides the perfect opportunity for students to get service hours for school. It’s also a great hands-on way for families, small homeschool groups, youth groups, and scouts to care for their neighborhood.

There are 5 Litter Clean Up Kits available for checkout at all Little Rock Branch Libraries except for the Dee Brown Library’s Tool Library which has 20 kits available for groups to check out.

Check availability and reserve kits.
