Green landscapes, sustainable plantings, sculpture gardens, and an absence of litter are making Little Rock a beautiful city to behold.

The sculpture “Playing Ball” and landscaping (in partnership with Botanica Gardens) at the new roundabout on Riverfront Drive and Rebsamen Park Road is but one example of how KLRB participates in beautification projects in Little Rock. The Cumberland Street Triangle at the base of the Interstate 30 off ramp into downtown Little Rock is another continuing success story.

The Little Rock’s Hanging Flower Basket program, featured on Markham Street and two blocks of Main was successful because of volunteers, Pulaski County Master Gardeners, and KLRB’s alliance with Little Rock Downtown Partnership and the City of LR. This particular program was so well received that KLRB continues to seek sponsors and partners for expanding it to other areas.

Other projects we have sponsored or participated in are:
Beautification of the roundabout at the junction of Kavanaugh, Pine Valley and North McKinley
Beautification of the Otter Creek primary entrance along Hwy 5 in Southwest Little Rock
Partnership in the Meadowcliff Community Garden with Meadowcliff Elementary School and the Brookwood/Meadowcliff Neighborhood Association
Moss Graffiti in the Park – an experimental community mural using live moss in a naturalized area of one of our city’s parks
KLRB  – a garden bridge beautification project and fundraising program that gives KLRB donors a pet tag to honor or memorialize a beloved pet. The pet tag is attached to and displayed on one of our Rainbow Bridges around the city.
