One of the aims of Keep Little Rock Beautiful is to promote public awareness and understanding of the effects of litter on our environment, economy, and the quality of life in Little Rock. We continuously look for ways to contribute to education and information sharing that increases awareness of recycling, litter prevention, and environmental conservation. The Public Awareness Committee is responsible for these and other activities that enhance people’s knowledge about what Keep Little Rock Beautiful and its affiliates do and how everyone can get involved.
We work with others who share these goals. Just a few of the other non-profit organizations with who we participate are Central Arkansas Trail Alliance, Audubon Center and Friends of Fourche Creek. We also support and put people in touch with local opportunities, such as Adopt-A-Street and City of Little Rock Adopt-A-Park programs.
