In the 2015 City Wide Cleanup, 750 volunteers collected 785 bags of litter, plus 35.6 tons of trash in dumpsters and 2.4 tons of recyclables. 313 city blocks were cleaned up along with 91 acres of parkland, 4 miles of trails and 1.5 miles of waterways.
Keep Little Rock Beautiful partners with the City of Little Rock’s Public Works’ Adopt-A Street Program. This in an opportunity to beautify the city by volunteering to pick up litter and trash on selected streets. There are many streets in need of adoption.
Volunteers and groups identify a street (3-7 blocks or more) and pick up litter and trash at least 6 times per year. Public Works provides lists of available streets, signage, safety vests and litter bags, and scheduled pick up of trash collected. To get involved contact Keep Little Rock Beautiful at firstname.lastname@example.org or 501-765-3530.
Here is an Adopt A Street Adoption Map 2015 . Streets that are adopted are in green.
Trash collections for Adopt-A-Streeters: Small amounts of trash can be deposited on your personal home or business waste carts or dumpsters. For larger collections, please place bags near a street sign and notify Glenn Haley, Adopt-A-Street Coordinator, by phone 501-371-4537, GHaley@littlerock.org

Assist KLRB in our various cleanup activities. Experience and research tell us that litter attracts more litter. A clean community discourages littering and illegal dumping. By volunteering you can make a difference in the fight against litter.
Our next big event will be March 12, 2016, our City Wide Cleanup. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more or to get your organization or neighborhood engaged in the cleanup.
